[00:01:12] welcome to this episode and this book episode. We’re talking about paying my respects to the world of entrepreneurship and business because it gave me a sense of self that I was finally happy with. And that meant so much to me because the world really did beat me down, told me I was deficient, demonstrated that I was deeply inadequate, facing tremendous amounts of rejection, and I grew up feeling very alone and I did not feel like I belonged anywhere except for in front of a computer.

[00:01:49] And what I want you to know is that when I got into business. I felt so broken and it felt like such a last resort for me. [00:02:00] When I turned to business, it was like, okay, this better work because there isn’t really a place anywhere else for me in the world. And I don’t know if you don’t know what it feels like to not feel like there’s any place for you in the world.

[00:02:13] But I certainly did. And it wasn’t until entrepreneurship, I finally felt like I belonged and it moved me so much cause I. Oh, well, my heart hurts so much. I yearned my heart was broken. I searched for a deep acceptance from the world and I couldn’t find it, and I finally found it for myself. In entrepreneurship, I finally found a sense of meaning, a sense of purpose.

[00:02:39] So I owe my life to business and I want you to know that it was my last resort. I went into feeling broken. And I found the easiest products to build cause I had no confidence. And I found the simplest things that I could get away with when I started. Cause I just didn’t believe in myself. And I didn’t think that anybody would.

[00:02:58] Everyone would buy anything that I made or built because I really couldn’t build anything to begin with. And the common Axiom in business was we’ll find a problem and solve it. But I didn’t have any problems. I was 22 years old and unemployed, so I had to figure out how to start businesses. And so I did, and I started 16 of them and 11 failed.

[00:03:16] But I, I found so much acceptance in entrepreneurship. I found a place to belong in entrepreneurship. I found a place to thrive and build wings to fly in the sky with and touch the sky. With entrepreneurship because it was this place where I could experiment. It was a place where failure was rewarded. It was a place where you could innovate and try over and over and over again until you get it right.

[00:03:38] You know you don’t have to get it right your first time and the world you’re taught that you have to, you get one chance to make it work, but an entrepreneurship, you get a hundreds. And thousands of chances to make it work. Entrepreneurship is the great equalizer of BS. It’s the great leveling field. The field of entrepreneurship says, come one, come all, all are welcome here.

[00:03:59] And the only thing [00:04:00] that you need to be able to do to be in the realm of entrepreneurship is to be able to deliver a result. And if you can figure out how to deliver a result or be part of something that delivers a result, or hire an expert that will get you a result that you own, it’s all possible. And you’ll see how with this book.

[00:04:16] The man. Do I ever tell you that entrepreneurship is a place they let me fly? Let me soar. It transformed my bullied heart into a confident kid, a confident millionaire. So many things happened because I said yes to entrepreneurship because I found a place to belong and entrepreneurship. So I really just want to say that entrepreneurship gave me confidence when I had none.

[00:04:41] So if you have none right now, welcome. That’s exactly how I started with little to no confidence. So I hope you enjoy reading this section of the book where you get to see my heart behind entrepreneurship and what it did for me. I also reveal some pretty transparent numbers about my business and how much money it makes and how many customers I get and the cancellation rates, and just in the interest of building trust with you and transparency.

[00:05:11] It’s very important to understand how significant businesses and how significant entrepreneurship is and what it can do. The heart of entrepreneurship is so beautiful. The heart of entrepreneurship is so beautiful. To me, it’s an act of service out of an act of compassion to remove problems and pain from people’s life to build great teams if you want them.

[00:05:41] If you don’t, you don’t have to, and that’s it. Well, it’s almost that. Please do pick up the book, preorder the book, read the book, let the words hit your mind. Let the words rest in your heart. Every word has been read over and over and over again by me on this [00:06:00] book until it’s almost a work of art. It looks like it’s going to be around 260 some pages and printed format.

Doing or considering or thinking about entrepreneurship because you are welcome here and I want to be one of the many entrepreneurs who does say, welcome, come, jump in the mud.
